Yes, all the rugs on our site are handmade using various processes such as hand-tufted, hand-knotted, punch needle, etc.

Machine-made rugs are quickly produced using synthetic materials, while hand-tufted rugs are woven with natural materials like pure New Zealand wool and cotton. A machine-made carpet yarn is dyed used chemical dyeing process which is not safe for a baby and pet.

Apart from providing comfort and coziness, these rugs are designed to reflect your style and add a unique and rich look to your space, offering a soft touch to your feet.

Each rug goes through an extensive process, including color selection, material dying, hand weaving, gluing, and finishing by carving with scissors, making it a labor-intensive and time-consuming process.

Our rugs boast a thickness of 18-20mm, providing a plush and shaggy look along with a comfortable feel underfoot.

For hand tufted rugs, we use New Zealand Wool. This wool gives a very bright look and proper finish on the rug in comparison to other wools and is generally the softest one with very less shredding compared to others.

The labor-intensive and time-consuming nature of the rug-making process contributes to their higher cost, and each rug is crafted with human effort and made with premium quality natural materials (safe for pets and kids), making it a unique piece with its own story.

If your rug is damaged upon arrival, you can exchange it for a new one. A variation of 5-10% in finishing and colours are not considered as a defect as these are handmade rugs.

These rugs generally have a lifespan of 15-20 years if used with care, and placing them in low foot traffic areas can maximize their longevity.
